Hello, welcome to my website for JMS 430 Digital Journalism! My name is Makayla Sims, but everyone just calls me Mack. I am a third year journalism student at San Diego State University who plans on graduating in December of 2026. As a journalist, I carry the responsibility of honest and important journalism close to my heart. I fell in love with journalism because I understand it’s importance as the fourth check and balance to government and corporate power.
